My 5 Favorite Books of All Time (well, currently)

I’m part of a family of readers. I’ve been surrounded by books for my entire life but these are the best of the best of the books that I’ve read (haha try saying that 10 times fast).

  1. “Atomic habits” by James Clear

I loooooooove this book. If you’ve talked to me for more than 2 minutes I’ve probably mentioned it. I listen to it on audible about once a month (you put it on triple speed and it’s done in a few hours). It’s the ultimate guide to forming good habits and breaking bad ones.

2. “Steal like an artist” by Austin Kleon

If I’m ever in a creative rut, I pull out this book. Everyone (whether you consider yourself an artist or not) can use these 10 tips to increase creativity and create better solutions.

3. “Little women” by Louisa May Alcott

I’ve read this book at least 10 times, seen every movie adaptation, listened to the audiobook on repeat for years and I still never ever get sick of it. I learn something new from the March sisters every time and I feel at home with them. Everyone needs to read this book. Everyone.

4. The Book of Mormon

Of course!! I’m never not reading it. It’s changed the lives of millions by bringing them to Christ. And sure, sometimes it’s confusing and the war chapters seem to last forever, but I love it and know it to be true.

5. “The screwtape letters” by CS Lewis.

This is one I read only recently, but dang does Lewis drop some truth bombs. It’s a fun and fast read about the adversary and it’s strategies.
